(54) FISHING DEVICE FOR HOOKING UP IN MULTIPLE SITE

(57) Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a squid from escaping by breaking of tentacles in the course of winding up the squid.
SOLUTION: This fishing device for hooking up multiple sites is constituted by connecting a main line 3 to a ring-having connection unit, subsequently to a hook 45 arranged below the same, connecting a branch line 51 to the moving shaft 6 of the hook 45 and the rest part to a hook 41 through the ring of the ring-having connection unit arranged above, and, when a squid 10 is caught by the hook 41, a hook 46 put on the moving shaft 6 of the hook 45 arranged in the lower part of a descending unit is brought up by seesawing to stick into many arms of the squid 10 to simultaneously hook multiple sites. Plural numbers of the device can be connected. The hook 45 below the hook 41 is normally housed and is not exposed on the surface. Squids 10 gather to the aforesaid device without having fear, as the whole hook is a lure and small. The squid is hardly brought to fall out in water, as arms of the squid 10 are nipped by installing a catching hook 44 and a sticking hook 46.

(54) BAIT WOOD

(57) Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of conventional bait wood for the fishing of broad-mantle squid comprising the escape of the squid hugging the wood when the motion of the bait wood is unnatural, the escape of the squid by the breakage of the soft tissue of the squid body even if the squid is hooked on an umbrella hooks attached to the bait wood, frequent runaway of the squid frightened by the approaching net, consequent requirement for a delicate control of the line-winding speed within the optimum range and the extremely low catch rate which is an anxiety source for a fisherman.
SOLUTION: The body of the bait wood is composed of three units consisting of a head part, a body part and a gaff part. The head part is provided with a shaft rod 12a protruding from the rear end and the body part is provided with a shaft rod supporting tool embedded in the body in a state longitudinally extending through the body. The shaft rod 12a is detachably connected to a shaft rod 12b and the shaft rods 12a, 12b are made to be slidable relative to the shaft rod supporting tool. Accordingly, the gaff can be thrust into the body of the squid hugged to the body part by the sliding motion of the body part.

(54) SQUID HOOK

(57) Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a squid hook which can prevent the separation of a hooked squid and the dropping of the squid from a guide roller, when a line is wound up, thereby improving the efficiency of the fishing and stopping the mutual twining of the squid hooks, when wound up on a winding drum.
SOLUTION: Hooks 4 and lures 5 are mounted on a hollow shaft member 1 comprising a coil spring, and a longer line-attached leader 8 than the shaft member is passed through the inside of the hollow shaft member 1. The line-attached leader 8 and the upper end of the hollow shaft member 1 are detachably attached to the line 10 at the upper end of the hollow shaft member 1. Multiple squid hooks are attached to the line in series and then used for fishing the squids. When a squid is hooked, the hook is extended due to the weight of the squid. The squid hooks are fit in the peripheral surfaces of the guide roller and the winding drum as much as possible.
