SOLUTION: This twister 1 for producing the hollow body is constituted by imbedding and fixing a nipping rod member 4 having a gap part 5 between a certain length needle rod 3 and a needle rod 3a which is slightly thinner and shorter than those of the rod 3, at the one end part of an appropriate length axis rod 2.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dubbing twister for making a fishing fly that is functional and easily handleable for making the fly for fly fishing. SOLUTION: Two elastic wires 2, 2 individually having hooked part 3 are fixed to an end of the grip 1 of a certain length in a V-shape, while the nipper for holding the string material D is inserted into the end 4 of the grip 1 between the elastic wires 2 whereby the objective dubbing twister 7 equipped with the core clip 6 is constituted.

TOOL FOR BINDING FLY LINE

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for binding capable of simply and readily connecting mutual lines for fly fishing different in thickness. SOLUTION: This tool body 1 for fly fishing lines is composed by forming each recessed main groove 5a from the other end 2b opposite to a rotating part in the longitudinal direction on mutually opposite surfaces of a pair of transparent resin plates 3 and 4 freely rotatably holding one end 2a, forming each recessed auxiliary groove 6a communicating from one lateral part of the respective resin plates 3 and 4 toward a part of each main groove 5a at a prescribed tilt angle and forming holding holes capable of holding each line 10 of a required thickness between the resin plates 3 and 4 when the resin plates 3 and 4 are superimposed so that the tip of a needle 11b is exposed to the outside of the line 10 when the needle 11b is inserted and passed through the central part of the line 10 located in the end face of the other end 2b by a required length.

TACKLE FOR FLY FISHING AND LINE CONNECTING TOOL USED THEREFOR

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new tackle for a fly simplifying the casting of a technically difficult fly fishing method. SOLUTION: This tackle for fly fishing is equipped with a rear end line 2 on the rod side, a tip line 4 on the fly side having the fly connected to the tip thereof and a line connecting tool 3 having one end connected to the rear end line 2 and the other end connected to the tip line 4. The line connecting tool 3 is provided with a cylindrical unit 311 of a prescribed length for freely fitting and internally inserting the tip line 4 connected to the other end therethrough and the cylindrical unit 311 is designed to have elasticity for readily deforming in the radial direction when a difference among respective motilities is great in flying the line connecting tool 3 during the casting but restoring into a straight cylindrical shape when the difference is reduced.

BOBBIN HOLDER FOR FISHING

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bobbin holder usable for manually producing a fly of a fishing tackle, and having a functional tool for preventing a thread from casting off. SOLUTION: This bobbin holder 1 has nipping tools 3 and 3 at both end parts of a supporting arm 2 and 2 formed by bending a material having elasticity into a V-shape, a holding pipe 4 having an adequate largeness installed in the center of the bent part, and a screw pipe 5 with a thin pipe 6 installed in one side of the holding pipe 4, formed at the inside of the central bent part of the elastic supporting arm 2 and 2 fastened and fixed by a nut 7 through the supporting arm 2 so that the pipe 6 may be positioned at the outside. The bobbin holder 1 also has a tool 10 for preventing the thread from being cast off and storing an elastic friction member 9 having a cut part 8 from one surface part in the longitudinal direction of a member composed of a foamed polyurethane raw material to the center in the holding pipe 4.

INDICATOR FOR FISHING AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove an indicator for fishing without leaving parts on a leader or a fly line when removing the indicator if necessary in the afterward set indicator for fishing. SOLUTION: The main body 2 of the indicator has a through hole 4 formed at the center thereof and a slit 5 formed by penetrating from the surface of the main body 2 to the through hole 4 and having smaller width than the internal diameter of the through hole 4. An elastic tube 3 having larger external diameter than the internal diameter of the through hole 4 in a natural state is stored in the through hole 4 in the state of having shrunk diameter and the both ends of the elastic tube 3 is projected from the both end face of the main body 2 to form free-end parts 7 and 7. The leader 8 is inserted from the slit 5 so as to penetrate the opposite face of the elastic tube 3 and the inside of the through hole 4.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel for fly fishing capable of readily carrying out spool exchange by attaching a spool shaft-supporting plate simply detachably to a reel frame. SOLUTION: This reel frame 10 has a guide groove 20 on the inner peripheral surface of an open end 12, plural notch parts 18 formed at equal interval along the guide groove 20 and a snap part 22 formed on the outside of radius along the guide groove 20 between each notch part 18 and a spool shaft supporting plate 30 is equipped with plural plate springs 34 on the surface which comes into contact with the open end 12 of the reel frame 10 and the plate spring 34 has an elastic head part 34a, a fixing part 34 for preventing lateral movement of the plate spring and an elastic neck part for connecting the elastic part to the fixing part, and the elastic head part 34a can be moved to the inside in radial direction by outer force and returned to original state when the outer force is eliminated.

SOLUTION: This insertion type float for fly fishing is obtained by forming a notch 2 to the center on the lateral face of a cylindrical buoyancy material 1 and further providing a notch 4 to the center on the lateral face of a tube 3 having a roundly closed one side.

BUOYANCY AGENT CASE FOR FLY FOR FLY-FISHING

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case capable of storing a buoyancy agent for a long time and speedily and surely sticking buoyancy agent to a fly by composing the case of a main body of case in which the buoyancy agent can be stored, lid attached to this main body of case, and gas impermeable material provided in this lid. SOLUTION: For example, this buoyancy agent case 1 is composed of a cylindrical main body 2 of case with its one end open and a lid 3 attached to the main body 2 of case so as to be freely opened and closed. The main body 2 of case is composed of a cylindrical buoyancy agent storage container 4 with its upper end part open so as to store a powder-state or liquid-state buoyancy agent 11 and plural lock elements 5 formed at the outer peripheral part of container 4 on the side of opening. The lid 3 is composed of a main body 7 of lid which can cover the opening part of container 4, projection element 8 formed on the main body 7 of lid, lock part 9 formed on the main body 7, and gas impermeable material 10 composed of rubber material attached on the main body 7 of lid.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fly case for fly fishing capable of enlarging the evaporation amount of the moisture from a fly through many aerating holes and the mesh lid. SOLUTION: A rubber magnet is provided on the inner side of a container main body 1 and a safety pin is provided on the outer side of the container main body 1. The lid 4 is connected to the lower end of the container main body 1 by a hinge 5 and a part of it is composed of the box-shaped mesh 4a. Also, a recessed and projected groove plate provided with a highly magnetically permeable body on a back surface whose side face is in a sawtooth shape and whose both walls are composed of a vertical groove shape is freely attachably and detachably provided on the rubber magnet. Thus, by attaching the recessed and projected groove plate as needed, the fly is easily arranged. By the bottom lid of the mesh, the evaporation amount of the moisture of the fly is enlarged.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject leader excellent in knot strength, tensile strength and natural drift properties without causing melt fracture by using a vinylidene fluoride resin having a fixed viscosity so as to constitute a butt part, a tapered part and a tappet part. SOLUTION: After a tapered part 3 connected to a butt part 2 having 800-1,800μm yarn diameter is formed, as a condition to form a tappet part 4 having 280-1, 100μm yarn diameter, the delivered amount of the butt part 2 is 1. 0-3. 5 cc/minute, the take-off speed is 1-3m/minute, the delivered amount of the tappet part 4 is 0.5-3.0cc/minute, the take-off speed is 3-10m/minute, the delivered amount of the butt part 2 is reduced by 20-90% in 0.5-3 seconds, the take-off speed is increased by 100-1,000% to give a tapered yarn. The yarn is drawn in a bath having 150-300°C drawing temperature in 4.0-7.0 times draw ratio to give the objective leader for fly fishing composed of a vinylidene fluoride resin having 1.0-1.7dl/g inherent viscosity.

SOLUTION: This device for fly fishing implements is made up of a holder body 1, a line cutter 2 mount rotatably on one end of the holder body 1, a needle 5 provided retractably on the other end of the holder body 1, and a sharpener 7 provided at an appropriate point of the holder body 1. Besides, this device is detachably fitted with a cutting edge of the line cutter 2.

POLYVINYLIDENE FLUORIDE-BASED TAPERED MONOFILAMENT, ITS PRODUCTION AND USE

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject monofilament small in mechanical strength drop during use, resistant to staining, excellent in abrasion resistance and weatherability, and useful as a knotless taper leader fishline for fly fishing, with both the viscosity characteristics of the vinylidene fluoride-based polymer and the tapered portion's dimension of the fiber specified. SOLUTION: This monofilament is obtained by forming a vinylidene fluoride- based polymer ≥5000 poise in melt viscosity at 260°C into fibers, having the following characteristics: the length of the tapered portion 2 is 0.2m but <5m; the diameter of the uniform diameter part 1 for the smaller diameter of the tapered portion end is ≥0.09mm; and the diameter of the uniform diameter part 3 for the larger diameter of the tapered portion end is ≤1.0mm and ≥0.05mm greater than the diameter at the end of the smaller-diameter side. This monofilament is seamless, having no plaited parts, and bearing characteristics suitable as fishline.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leader for fly fishing having both softness not to restrict movement of a fly and strength to withstand shock of bite, slight in unevenness of fishing line and capable of readily removing winding habit and to provide a method for producing the leader. SOLUTION: This leader 1 for fly fishing made of a vinylidene fluoride-based monofilament comprises a tippet part 4 having ≤10% unevenness of fishing line, a butt part 2 and a tapered part 3. In this method for producing the leader 1 by passing a filament extruded from a spinning nozzle through a refrigerant in a cooling bath, cooling the filament, taking-off the filament by changing a take-off speed and drawing the undrawn filament, the passage time of the filament extruded from the spinning nozzle through the cooling bath is 0.15-3.0 seconds, the taking-off speed is ≤14m/minute, the product of the passage time and the taking-off speed is 1.0-10.0 and the undrawn yarn is taken-off and then draw by the above production conditions of the tippet part 4.

FLY CUTTING METHOD AND DEVICE THEREFOR

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a method for cutting a fly for fishing especially by inserting an unprocessed fly bundle into the inside of a pair of coaxial blade parts. CONSTITUTION: The method for cutting a fly for fishing comprises installing a first cylinder 1 having a first blade part 2, laying a second cylinder 3 having a larger diameter than the first cylinder 1 and a second blade part 4 on the outer periphery of the first cylinder 1 and cutting a fly inserted into the inside of the first blade part 2 by rotation of the second cylinder 3. The device therefor is also provided.
