Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lure having both of a spoon-like function (fish-gathering effect by oscillation) and a hopper-like function (fish-gathering effect by water splashing).
SOLUTION: This lure is equipped with a body 2 made of a metal curved in a prescribed shape and a head 4 disposed at one end of the body 2, having a resistance face 4a to water current and forming a head shape of fish. The resistance face of the head 4 forms recessed shape susceptible to resistance to water current. A fishline-connecting ring 6 to which a fishline can be connected is disposed at one end of the body 2 (particularly on resistance face of the head 4) and a connecting hole 8 to which fishline or fishhook can be connected is formed at other end side of the body 2.

(21) Patent Application number : 11-154617 (71) Patent Applicant : SHIMANO INC
(22) Date of filing : 02.06.1999 (72) Patent Inventor : HIRAHARA KENJI
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lure having sufficient strength and enabling the resistance in the water to be reduced.
SOLUTION: This lure has a lure main body 1 made of lead and a stainless steel board 2 placed near the cross-directional center of the lure main body 1 from the head of the lure main body over the tail. The width of the head side margin of the main body 1 is about 1.5-4 mm. The main body 1 is formed so as to have a uniform thickness from the head side margin to the neighborhood of the longitudinal central part, to gradually become wider from here to the tail side and to again reduce in width by extending to the tail side margin. The stainless steel board 2 is a plate material with the thickness of about 0.5-1.5 mm though the thickness is also dependent on longitudinal overall length of the lure main body. The stainless steel board 2 has plural pores 2a, and parts of it extrude from the head, abdomen and tail of the lure main body 1 to form a fishing line-holding part 3 and eyes 4 and 5, respectively.
