(22)Date of filing : 11.07.2003 (72) Patent Inventor : KAWAMATA SANETAKA
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an artificial fish-breeding reef by producing a mold composed of a water-soluble material and using the mold.
SOLUTION: Resin nets 33 are attached to the inside walls, longitudinal bars 41 and crossbars 42 of a box part 32. Each side of the box part is equipped with through holes for inserting the longitudinal bars 41 and the crossbars 42. The top of the box part is open. A great number of small holes 43 are bored through the sides of the box part 32 to pull out water. The gel-like water-soluble material sufficiently kneaded with water is poured into the box part 32 and water is pulled out from the small holes 43. When drying is advanced in a certain degree by air drying, etc., the longitudinal bars 41 and the crossbars 42 are removed. Then, after the material in the box body 32 is sufficiently dried by blowing hot air into the hollow part, the box body 32 is broke down to take out the solidified mold.

Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving environmental conditions such as sea sand, mud, nutritious salts, environmental hormones, agrochemical, detergents, or the like, and difficulties for seedling production, or the like, in the artificial development of a seaweed bed for eelgrass, or the like.
SOLUTION: The subject plastic artificial turf type algal reef board is applied and fixed on an artificial concrete fishing reef already installed in the sea but exhibiting not sufficient algal bed-developing effect so as to develop the seaweed bed by a small budget. Also, without using any concrete at all, and when using the plastic artificial turf type algal bed boards from the beginning, since it is possible to fix them at the sea bottom or by leaving them from the sea bottom with a small fishing boat, a cost for developing the seaweed bed becomes extremely inexpensive, and suitable for a public construction. Problems such that a conventional seaweed bed construction requires a high cost by using a high priced concrete and using a boat having a platform, and since it has a high hydrogen ion concentration, the sea weeds do not attach easily, and from second year on, the reef is covered with protozoea, shellfishes, or the like, to widely reduce the growing conditions of the seaweeds, or the like, and the seaweed bed developmental effect is not satisfied, are solved.

Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial fish-breeding reef, which forms a shelter, provides a spawning ground to make fishes calmly spawn, supplies fresh seawater to fish roe, promotes the growth of the fish roe and is simply produced.
SOLUTION: A plurality of thin plates 10 provided with linking holes 11h are connected at intervals in the vertical direction by connection parts 20. The connection parts 20 are sandwiched between the thin plates 10 and 10 and are constituted of spacers 21 provided with linking holes 21h and connection rods 22 to be inserted into the linking holes 11h of the thin plates 10 and the linking holes 21h of the spacers 21. Consequently, since the intervals between the thin plates 10 function as a spawning ground of fish and a shelter is formed by a plurality of the thin plates 10, a spawning ground to make fishes calmly spawn is provided.

Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial fish-breeding reef built under the water, with which the surface 1a of a block has a self-cleaning function by simple operation.
SOLUTION: Only the fitting part 2c of a rope-like cleaning body 2 is attached to the top of the block from a water surface S. Consequently, when a float 3 moves by a water flow or waves, the rope-like cleaning body 2 is slid along the surface 1a of the block 1 following the float and harmful deposits are removed to expose a fresh surface to seawater.

Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and certainly attach a seed and seedling of seaweeds such as Eisenia bicyclis and Sargassum on the surface of shore reefs such as a natural stone and an artificial block.
SOLUTION: This method initially comprises releasing the seed and seedling of Eisenia bicyclis into a water tank installed on the land, immersing a sheet base material 6 made of a biodegradable nonwoven fabric into the water tank, attaching the seed and seedling 1 of Eisenia bicyclis on the sheet base material 6 to make a seed and seedling sheet 2 and cutting out the sheet 2 into a rectangle to make small pieces 3 of the seed and seedling sheet. On the other hand, the method subsequently comprises separately preparing small pieces 4 of a ground sheet made of the same biodegradable nonwoven fabric, initially sticking the small pieces 4 of the ground sheet on the surface of a block 5 by an adhesive, then joining the small pieces 3 of the seed and seedling sheet 2 on the small pieces 4 by heat fusing and installing the block 5 to a proposed improved area in the water. Thereby, the root of the seed and seedling 1 of Eisenia bicyclis is extended along the small pieces 3 and 4 and attached on the surface of block around the small pieces and the whole thereof is attached on the surface of block when the small pieces 3 and 4 are biodegraded.
