Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving
environmental conditions such as sea sand, mud, nutritious salts,
environmental hormones, agrochemical, detergents, or the like, and
difficulties for seedling production, or the like, in the artificial
development of a seaweed bed for
eelgrass, or the like.
SOLUTION: The subject plastic artificial
turf type algal reef board is applied and
fixed on an artificial concrete fishing reef
already installed in the sea but exhibiting not sufficient algal
bed-developing effect so as to develop the seaweed bed by a small
budget. Also, without using any concrete at all, and when using the
plastic artificial turf type algal bed
boards from the beginning, since it is possible to fix them at the sea
bottom or by leaving them from the sea bottom with a small fishing
boat, a cost for developing the seaweed bed becomes extremely
inexpensive, and suitable for a public construction. Problems such that
a conventional seaweed bed construction requires a high cost by using a
high priced concrete and using a boat having a platform, and since it
has a high hydrogen ion concentration, the sea weeds do not attach
easily, and from second year on, the reef
is covered with protozoea, shellfishes, or the like, to widely reduce
the growing conditions of the seaweeds, or the like, and the seaweed
bed developmental effect is not satisfied, are solved.

unit (8) and arbitrarily combined the solid bodies with each other,
wherein the fish reef
unit (8) is formed by positioning an intermediate frame (1) inside an
outer frame (2), so as to form spaces (5) on the top, bottom, and four
side faces of the intermediate frame, then mixing and putting the waste
material (6) in the intermediate frame, further pouring a solution (7)
which is obtained by heat-treating waste plastics onto the waste
material and into spaces between the intermediate frame and the outer
frame, so as to fill the spaces with the solution, and finally putting

Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and certainly attach a seed and
seedling of seaweeds such as Eisenia bicyclis and Sargassum on the
surface of shore reefs such as a natural
stone and an artificial block.
SOLUTION:
This method initially comprises releasing the seed and seedling of
Eisenia bicyclis into a water tank installed on the land, immersing a
sheet base material 6 made of a biodegradable nonwoven fabric into the
water tank, attaching the seed and seedling 1 of Eisenia bicyclis on
the sheet base material 6 to make a seed and seedling sheet 2 and
cutting out the sheet 2 into a rectangle to make small pieces 3 of the
seed and seedling sheet. On the other hand, the method subsequently
comprises separately preparing small pieces 4 of a ground sheet made of
the same biodegradable nonwoven fabric, initially sticking the small
pieces 4 of the ground sheet on the surface of a block 5 by an
adhesive, then joining the small pieces 3 of the seed and seedling
sheet 2 on the small pieces 4 by heat fusing and installing the block 5
to a proposed improved area in the water. Thereby, the root of the seed
and seedling 1 of Eisenia bicyclis is extended along the small pieces 3
and 4 and attached on the surface of block around the small pieces and
the whole thereof is attached on the surface of block when the small
pieces 3 and 4 are biodegraded.
